British Motoring Festival

The Festival is a showpiece event of the British Automobile Touring Association of Nova Scotia (BATANS), a non-profit registered society. The event is an occasion for British car enthusiasts to showcase their vehicles, both classic and modern. In 2017, 128 participants presented a total of 146 British cars and motorcycles. Most came from the Atlantic Provinces, with a few who made it from New England and Ontario. We also welcomed approximately 800 public spectators who came on Saturday’s open day to view the cars and to speak to their owners.

As in past years, prizes will be awarded in 2018 for cars that are deemed to represent the best of several categories. Festival organizers are also planning special activities to entertain young and old alike. Food vendors will be on hand to dispense food and beverages.

MGBs have been designated as the Featured Car for 2018. Noted MGB guru John Twist has been invited to join the festival and to share his problem-solving expertise as well.
