Texas MG Register Spring Gathering of the Faithful

The Texas MG Register’s Spring Gathering the Faithful will be held Thursday, May 16th -Sunday, May 19th in Salado, TX.

The host hotel, the Holiday Inn Express, 254-947-4004 is already booked for the TMGR rate, but the Day’s Inn is available, 607-972-9252 before April 16th. People can register for this event at TMGR.org

Activities start on Thursday with a visit to the Salado Winery for wine and hors d’oeuvres between 4-5:30. It’s a great time for everyone to catch up with other MG owners from around the state. Dinner is on your own at restaurants in and around Salado.

On Friday there will be a scenic drive to Georgetown, home to the Most Beautiful Town Square in Texas. Due to its successful preservation efforts, Georgetown was named a national Main Street City in 1997, the first Texas City so designated. Lunch, shopping and visiting will take up the afternoon with another scenic drive back to Salado around 3 pm. On Friday evening everyone will enjoy a pizza party with a DJ. at the Holiday Inn parking lot. Yes, dancing under the stars will be encouraged

On Saturday morning the car show  followed by lunch will be at Pace Park. Following lunch a Funkhana is planned. In the evening there will be a happy hour, dinner and awards at The Barn near Pace Park.

Sunday will provide a leisurely drive back home.
