Vote for your favorite License Plate

A big THANK YOU! to everyone who submitted their custom plate for this Top 10 quest! Unbiased and reasonably sober judges whittled down the many submissions to a few dozen.

It’s time to cast your vote. Actually you have until February 15, but why wait?

To get a larger view of the contestants simply click on the photo. When you’ve picked your favorite, click the box to the right of the photo and then scroll down to the bottom and hit the SUBMIT button. One vote per person, please.

The Top 10 will be displayed in the Spring issue of Moss Motoring. All 10 will receive a $25 Moss Gift Certificate. And just for fun, a special “Moss Jury” will be selecting their own favorite to whom will go a $50 Gift Certificate.

Yep, I voted for my MGA. I had these plates for almost a year. When I saw your contest I went to the DMV, turned in my old plates and now have a temporary registration tag while they process their paperwork.

  2. Jean McNelly

I still prefer my 79 MGB california plate “BECOMNG” I can send a pix of the plate if you like, but Kelvin Dodd helped me name it. ;)

  3. Tim Flaherty

I guess I have to vote for my own. ESCAPE-ing since 1975.

  4. Bruce Cunha

Darn, I missed this one. My 1950 MGTD says “REAL MG” because everyone asks if it is one of those kits.

    1. BOB stokes

Me too. I have a 54 TF with the same NY plate

Yes a drive in a good running XKE is XKESTACY!! If you ever get the chance you will be converted or bring it to my shop and we will make it a great running XKE!!

Thanks for your comment. You sure are right about the E-type. Where is your shop?

Regardless of the outcome, they are all winners. Brit’ car owners naturally are more fun.

  10. Brad Muscott

    How better to describe it.

  11. John

    Like the HELEE license plate.

Got these plates for the Aston as I am a true Bond fan. MI6 is British Secret Service and Q-Branch was responsible for all the extra gadgets including machine guns, smoke screen, ejector seat and other items that are still classified.

I am a big fan too. I wish Moss could sell me a gear-shift knob with a red button inside for my MGA.

  13. Tony Herbert

  18. mike gibson

l would have told that copper to get his foot off my car..

  19. Tom

Sure sorry I missed this. My ’68 TR250 plate is 2ml2us2.

But I love the Delorean’s “OUTATYM” almost as much as the Spitfire’s “HAWK 2E”.

  20. RON

    TOOOOO FUN

  21. Joanne Graves

  22. Joanne Graves

    Some very clever plates!

  25. John Weber

I know this vote is too late, but I gotta say BRI*ISH is an awesome plate.
